My school is the best learning environment. And the teachers such as Ms.Levison are outstanding and really account for the schools great academics.

I used to be a student at Liberty. The three years I spent there were a living nightmare. Teachers easily picked favorites and most bullying was ignored. I've always been the "odd one out" in school but here it was just horrible. I would walk down the halls and people would say horrible things to me because I am a female and I have a girlfriend. I failed horribly due to teachers not having the ability to listen to what I said. If I were a parent, I would never send my child to Liberty. I can't believe that people are so blind to what's really going on. The bullies strutting around in assemblies holding up anti-bullying signs. I made me sick. Now that I am in high school, my grades have gone up significantly. I'm so glad I finally got away from this school.

this school is the best school i have ever been to the teachers keep u in check by telling you your missing something instead of telling your parents and having them responsible for it. they might not take care of situations because they want us students too learn that in life you wont always get the help you want. the teachers teach in thier own way that they think best and sometimes it works for students sometimes it doesnt

Amazing school, teachers, and administration. We are new to the Camas area and were told to stick with home buying within the Camas School District boundary ---- everyone was right! Liberty has been a highlight for my 6th grader this year. Super administration and well organized schedule. My child was able to get into the AP (pre AP) classes available and he is extremely challenged and thrilled to be going to school each day! Love the district and so glad we made the decision to buy a home within the district boundaries.

We are in our 5th year in Camas. Liberty Middle School is everything we wanted when moving here. Although there is friendly competition with our other middle school - both are great and we knew when house hunting that as long as we were in the Camas School District, we would have what we were looking for. The administrators apply the rules fairly and with compassion. They encourage students to come to them and make sure they protect their "street cred" when they do. Rules are applied to all, but not blindly. The student as a whole is taken into consideration when they screw up. Which they will, these are kids after all. I can not think of a better place to prepare my kids for high school than Liberty. Ms. Hamlin the choir teacher - is over the top amazing! Mr. Henion the band director is devoted and goes above and beyond fostering a love of music. Academically they offer programs for students who need a challenge and support to all. Athletics? Between Camas Community Ed and Liberty - you can find what you are looking for in a team! Basically - Liberty Rocks!! (that's saying a lot, it is a middle school after all).

My son attends LMS and although the school is a rated A school. The teachers do not communicate well at all on how your kids are doing. unless your child gets into big trouble. I have emailed my sons teachers many times and asked to meet with them and I dont get anything back. I also paid for two school shirts for my son in Aug of 09 and its Dec 09 and I have not got any thing and again I cant get anyone to call me back! My son likes the school but I hate it. This school don't keep the lines of communication open at all. How can you help keep your child going on the right track if there is no communication. Not even from the principal. If you care about how your child is doing don't send them here.

My daughter attended LMS and although academically it was a great school they did not take care of the situations very well. My daughter was harassed and was getting called filthy names and very innapropriate things and nothings was done the principal simply separate the students but as we know its never that easy and the teachers are very innapropriate and out of place about things this. I would not recommend this school for it does not have very good protection for students the staff is careless and they just do not handle things or take care of things the way they should

I used to go to LMS, now off to CHS. I thought the school was really well put together. The layout was a little difficult, particularly for 8th graders with choir or band and then math right after. Opposite ends of the school... Anyway, the teachers are really helpful and the other staff are really nice. There are plenty of clubs and a great athletics program. I liked it there.

Liberty Middle School is awesome! Especially the staff! They were always there for me when I needed them! Also, the activities are fantastic! I'd prefer the Liberty Lions to the Skyridge Skyhawks any day! The sport coaches are really nice really get you pepped up for a game!
